John Mostyn provides legal services in the areas of real estate permitting, contracts, leasing, financing, corporate governance, and employment law for Corcoran Jennison Companies’ real estate management, development, and hospitality divisions; a portfolio that spans over 22,000 residential units, office buildings, retail space, hotels, and country clubs.  Mr. Mostyn advocates before federal, state, regional, and local regulators, including the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, local planning boards, zoning boards of appeal, and conservation commissions. 

Mr. Mostyn earned his undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and went on to earn his JD degree from the Northeastern University School of Law.  He has held positions at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and Labat-Anderson where he provided guidance to federal agencies and executive offices in the area of environmental law, with an emphasis on hazardous materials management and environmental impact assessment.

Mr. Mostyn is a member of both the Boston Bar Association and Urban Land Institute.  He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
